The view of Mt. Fuji from my room was incredible. Waking up to that sight made each morning special. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, a nice surprise for a Japanese hotel. I appreciated the helpful staff. they went above and beyond when I needed to check in early due to a family member feeling unwell. The rooftop terrace also offered a stunning perspective of the mountain, especially during sunset. Breakfast offered delicious options with both Japanese and western flavors, which I thoroughly enjoyed. However, transportation options were limited. I faced challenges with getting to restaurants or the bus station, which necessitated a considerable amount of walking. It would be helpful if the hotel provided clearer information about nearby dining options and transportation availability. This could truly enhance the experience for future guests.

I had a delightful stay at Haostay! The breathtaking view of Mt. Fuji from my spacious twin room was unforgettable. The breakfast offered both Japanese and Western options, and every bite was delicious. The rooftop area for enjoying tea was a lovely touch.
Walking to the station took longer than expected.

Staying here was a dream come true! The view of Mt Fuji from our room was jaw-dropping and the rooftop terrace offered incredible sights. Plus, the breakfast had the most delicious Japanese options. The only downside was the 15-minute walk to the station. I wish the photos had shown how steep the street was!

Couples seeking tranquility
We stayed for 3 nights, and the views of Mt Fuji were just amazing, especially from the rooftop, it felt like a movie scene. One night, I just sat on the tatami mats, soaking it all in while my wife enjoyed her traditional breakfast, and I couldn't help but feel lucky to be there.
It wasn’t exactly inexpensive but still manageable.

Loved the clean, spacious room with incredible views of the hills. The rooftop terrace was a highlight—we could practically see Mt. Fuji waving at us! Great location for exploring nearby attractions too.
However, the noise from kids on the rooftop at dawn was a bit too lively for my delicate ears. Also, the walk back from town felt like a mini marathon after a long day!

Spacious double room offered lovely views of Mt. Fuji, especially from the rooftop. Renting bikes was a plus. exploring the area was enjoyable. However, the furnishings felt basic and lacked warmth, resembling a budget hostel. The limited dining options nearby meant some long walks, which could be a hurdle for some guests.

Amazing views and chill vibes!
This place is such a gem! The rooftop views of Mt. Fuji while enjoying breakfast were just surreal. Staff were super helpful, especially with the luggage service—they helped us sort it all to our next stop. Just be ready for that walk back from the bus stop, it felt longer than expected sometimes.
